The Banco del Ahorro Nacional y Servicios Financieros, S.N.C. (BANSEFI) is the Federal government´s and the Banca de Desarrollo´s instrument aimed at promoting savings and access to financial services among low income people.

La Comisión Nacional para la Defensa de los Usuarios de las Instituciones Financieras (CONDUSEF) is a public institution reporting to the Secretaría de Hacienda y Crédito Público (Ministry of Finance) that guides, informs and promotes financial education. It also receives and deals with complaints from the users of financial products and services.

The Instituto de Mexicanos en el Exterior is a decentralized agency of the Secretaría de Relaciones Exteriores (Ministry of Foreign Affairs) that represents the Presidential Office for the Atention of Mexican Communities Overseas and the Program for Mexican Communities Abroad.
